Effective date: August 20, 2026. These Terms govern your use of www.justresolve.com (the “Site”), which is owned and operated by Just Resolve LLC (“Just Resolve,” “we”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Site. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept it.

This one matters, so it comes first. Just Resolve is a private dispute-resolution practice. We are not a law firm and we do not practice law, even though people trained as attorneys are involved in our work. Nothing on this Site — articles, dictionary entries, the cost calculator, template language, anything — is legal advice, and reading it does not create an attorney-client relationship. Every dispute is different. If you need legal advice, retain your own lawyer before you act. By using the Site you agree not to bring any claim against Just Resolve premised on treating Site content as legal advice or legal representation.

The cost calculator and other tools

Tools like the Total Cost of Litigation calculator produce estimates built on general assumptions. They are illustrations, not quotes, predictions, or advice about your specific matter. Actual costs and outcomes vary, sometimes a lot.

Our content

The content of this Site — text, graphics, logos, the “Just Resolve” name and marks, and the compilation of all of it — belongs to Just Resolve or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may read, link to, and quote the Site with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions, use our marks, or use the content commercially without our written permission. If you believe something on this Site infringes your copyright or trademark, email us and we will look into it promptly.

We link to outside websites when they are useful. We don’t control them, don’t endorse them, and aren’t responsible for what they say or how they handle your information.

No warranties; limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Just Resolve and its owners, officers, employees, agents, and neutrals will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnity

If your violation of these Terms causes a third party to bring a claim against Just Resolve, you agree to indemnify us for the resulting damages and reasonable attorneys’ fees.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about the Site that we can’t resolve informally — and we’d genuinely rather resolve it informally; it’s what we do — will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California.

Privacy

How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
